Manchester United target Arjen Robben addresses move talk

Manchester United target Arjen Robben has addressed speculation about his future - insisting he is happy at Bayern Munich. The Dutch international was one of the first names on Louis van Gaal’s wanted list when he took charge at Old Trafford last year. Robben went on to confirm United’s attempts to sign him after the World Cup - but opted to stay with German champions Bayern. The 31-year-old has a year and a half to run on his current contract - and discussing his future at a supporters’ event, he said: “I never thought about a transfer. “I am happy in Munich - my family is happy in Munich. “My contract runs until 2017. You can’t look too far forward in football, but everything is fine at the moment - I hope things continue this way.” Van Gaal has made no secret of his desire to add to his attacking talent. Last month he confirmed his interest in Cristiano Ronaldo - while Gareth Bale, Thomas Muller, Neymar and Harry Kane are all players on his radar. He worked with Robben while he was at Bayern and they were reunited with Holland at last year’s World Cup.
